FOUNDATION IN TRAVEL AND TOURISM WITH GALILEO

Course Duration

6 Weeks with 12 months to complete from the registration date. 1 Intakes Per Year

Pre-requisites

• 18 years or older, and have BGCSE qualification with atleast a pass in English language
• Be able to speak, read and write English
• Be able to swim in water unaided (if unable to swim we coach you without extra charges)

Attendance of all course components is compulsory.

Certificates of Competency will be provided on successful completion of the various programmes.

Cabin Crew Academy will facilitate the processing of all Skills Tests by the SACAA and collect the relevant Cabin Crew Member (CCM) License Inserts, on behalf of each Learner (who is the CCM License Holder). These will be checked to ensure accuracy before handing them over to the Learner.

Course Cost

Effective 1st April 2019, Cabin Crew Initial Training Course will be conducted at a cost of P32,500.00 per person, all inclusive.

The Course Cost includes:

• All training manuals and training materials
• All costs associated with theory and practical training and assessments (first attempt)
• Accommodation for 6 weeks (3 star Hotel standard)
• All 3 meals per day for 6 weeks
• Transport to all training venues
• All costs associated with obtaining the Class 2 Medical Certificate
• Uniforms
• SACAA Theory Exam Fee
• SACAA CCM Licensing Fee (first attempt)
• Familiarisation flight with the National Carrier (air Botswana) on the Gaborone –
Johannesburg Route.
• 3 Interview attempts with International Airlines, Qatar, Emirates, Gulf air and Etihad in Johannesburg, Pretoria and 1 attempt in (Cape Town, Port Elizabeth or Durban). We provide free transport and accommodation to the mentioned open days if invited for assessments by the airlines.
• Free 2 day workshop with highly experienced airline interview assessors with group interview simulations.

The Course Cost excludes:

• Re-Training and Re-Assessment Costs

Training Facilities:

• Theoretical training is conducted in our SACAA accredited classrooms and
• Practical training is conducted either on an actual aeroplane or in our cabin simulator that accurately represents the aeroplane in the items described by the SACAA Civil Aviation Regulations and Technical Standards requirements (in terms of layout of the cabin, type and location of seats, location, mode and operation of exits, location and type of safety equipment etc.);
• Our Fire Fighting and Smoke Training Simulators are used for the practical training;
• A swimming pool is used for the practical training in water;
